CENTENNIAL COLLEGE, TORONTO, CANADA

Centennial College is Ontario’s first public college. It offers high quality Canadian Education that is hands on, employment focused, and affordable.

About Centennial College

Centennial College is the number one college choice for international students in Canada! As the first government government-accredited college in Ontario, Centennial has established a reputation for high quality Canadian Education programs and strong connection with business and industry.   Career-oriented programs offer engaging classroom, laboratory and field learning, instruction from industry experts and excellent co-op and internship work placements. Centennial is known to be one of the most culturally diverse post-secondary education institutions in Canada.  As a recognized leader in International Education, International students at Centennial are well supported as they transition to studying, working and living in Canada.

Centennial has five campuses and eight specialized academic schools in Toronto, offering post-secondary, postgraduate and fast-track programs in Business, Engineering Technology and Applied Science, Communications, Media and Design, Health and Community studies, Hospitality, Tourism and Culture and Transportation as well as English Language Learning (ELL) and foundations programs for college and university preparation.

Global Experience Program:

One defining factor that sets Centennial College apart from other institutions is its Global Experience program. This gives students the opportunity to participate in international internship placements, semester exchanges, field studies, joint international research projects, language and culture learning, and international development activities around the world.

Advantage of Work Placement Opportunities

Co-op and internship programs include 1, 2 or 3 semesters at a work placement, where you will apply what you have studied in class and gain hands on experience in your industry. The added work experience increases your chances of getting a good job (with a higher salary) as a grad. Many of Centennial College co-op students get hired full-time by their co-op employer after graduation, and employers consider co-op an excellent way to attract and assess potential future employees.

Graduates of Centennial are job ready.  More than 94 percent of those hiring Centennial grads are satisfied or very satisfied with their hires!

Opportunity to Work: International students can work for up to 20 hours every week during classes and without restrictions during scheduled breaks. Additionally, on graduation, international students can apply for a Canadian post-graduation work permit for up to 3 years!

Scholarships
After the first year of study, Merit Scholarships based on academic performance, Awards for athletics, leadership, and bursaries to fund global experiences are available to international students.
