Georgian College

Georgian accelerates student learning, careers and success. We’re home to 11,000 full-time students – including 3,500 international students. More than 125 career-focused programs are taught by faculty with industry expertise across seven locations in Central Ontario: Barrie, Midland, Muskoka (Bracebridge), Orangeville, Orillia, Owen Sound and South Georgian Bay (Collingwood).

Students study part-time, full-time– choosing from degrees, combined degree-diplomas, graduate certificates, diplomas and certificates.

Georgian is proud to be Ontario’s #1 co-op college. We have the most Ontario college students enrolled in co-op programs (5,000+) and highest percentage of programs with co-op. 6,200 employers partner with us. It’s no surprise Georgian grads get jobs!

We’re number one in graduate employment among all 22 English-language Ontario colleges.

College credits can be just the beginning – through articulation and transfer agreements, most of our full-time diploma and advanced diploma programs allow graduates up to two years of advanced standing in a related degree program. We have more than 590 articulation and transfer agreements with 56 institutions around the world.

All programs are designed in partnership with community and industry leaders. Many students recognize our deep industry connections, drawn particularly to the Automotive Business School of Canada, Centre for Marine Training and Research, and Sadlon Centre for Health, Wellness and Sciences.

Georgian was ranked first in overall international student satisfaction among 11 Ontario colleges and sixth globally among 182 institutions in the 2016 International Student Barometer fall survey.

Georgian is a catalyst for economic development, bringing strong social and cultural benefits to the communities we serve. We have an annual economic impact of $188 million regionally and $306 million provincially. Today, Georgian employs approximately 2,600 full- and part-time staff members.
