„Grigore T. The Faculty of Medical Bioengineering of Iasi, Romania contributes to the raising of the standard of quality in the health care system. To achieve this goal, our faculty aims to promote quality and efficiency in education, shape the personality and development of student’s creative skills, advance continuous development of scientific research, international standards and assert scientific performance of the academic community, develop partnerships with hospitals, universities, businesses, national institutions and international organizations.



  1. Physiotherapy (Balneology, physical therapy and medical rehabilitation)

Physio-kinesiotherapy promotes the active participation in society through the development, maintenance and restoration of health, movement capacity, physical activity and functional ability throughout the lifespan. The physio-kinesiotherapist diagnoses the functional problems, provides treatment, assisting the person to restore movement and/or avoid injuring themselves further, seeks input from other health professionals if required, and helps the person to achieve the best possible recovery, activity and quality of life.

  1. Biomedical Engineering

A biomedical engineer acts as an integrator between medical specialists and technological specialists. Biomedical engineers integrate their engineering skills with their understanding of the complexity of biological systems in order to improve medical practice and solve problems related to living systems. The employment opportunities of a biomedical engineer include hospitals, biomedical industries, prosthetics companies, private practice, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and many more.

  • Baccalaureate Diploma, or an equivalent to the Baccalaureate Diploma certified by the relevant authority in the issuing country, including the grades obtained in the Baccalaureate exam (for Physiotherapy Bachelor studies)
  • Certified copies or copies and certified translations of the Bachelor Degree (for Biomedical Engineering Master studies)
  • English language proficiency (level B2/independent user)
