Located in the German-Polish border city of Frankfurt (Oder), the European University Viadrina embodies a truly international spirit right at the heart of Europe, attracting around 4.000 students from over 100 countries.
Re-established in 1991, the Viadrina is committed to an interdisciplinary approach, both in its research and in its degree programs – especially in the fields of Business Administration and Economics, Social and Cultural Sciences, Law and Digital Entrepreneurship.
Internationality is the Viadrina’s lifeblood, and the university reaches far beyond the European region. The Viadrina emphasizes its international character also in its cooperation with approx. 290 universities worldwide, which opens up a wide range of international exchange as well as cooperation opportunities. In cooperation with strategic partner universities, the Viadrina offers various joint and double degree programs for students.

For high-school graduates and prospective students from Georgia who would like to start their studies right after school, attending a study preparatory program is mandatory. The Viadrina offers different study preparatory programs (foundation programs) within the Viadrina College. Depending on previous knowledge, requirements as well as the desired Bachelor’s degree, you might apply for the following short-term foundation programs:
- Viadrina Fast Track: You want to start a German-taught Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Business Administration and Economics or Social and Cultural Studies right after school? Then the Viadrina Fast Track is the right choice for you. From July to September each year, the participants complete a 3-month study preparatory program with German language courses, courses in mathematics and economics and methodological courses, after which they can start their studies in October of the same year.
- Viadrina Fast Track (ENG-Track): You want to start your Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics in Germany right after school, but your German language skills are limited? Then the 3-month Viadrina Fast Track (ENG-Track) is just right for you. The program takes place annually from July to September and allows international high-school graduates to start their English-taught studies in International Business Administration right after school without losing any time and with limited or no German language skills. Participants attend courses in mathematics, economics and methodological courses and will join a German language taster course. After passing all required exams, students will begin their studies at the Viadrina in October of the same year.
